We have doxie meet-ups at the dog beach park and enjoy stopping at the Park Bench Cafe after a morning on the beach.
Unfortunately, the city forced the restaurant to remove the tables out of the grassy park area and onto the restaurant property. The amount of park space the restaurant took away from the park was practically nothing. It’s a shame the city has to be so negative about a place that dogs and their owners really enjoy. Now the outdoor seating is a little cramped.
