Lulu’s is a charming little French cafe, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu has something for everyone and prices are very reasonable. On the weekend they have music after 11am. Closed on Monday. Phone: (949) 855-2222
Lulu’s has a terrace with a separate entrance, making it dog friendly. The terrace is spacious and has heaters to keep everyone toasty.
Give yourself a treat. Lulu’s only serves organic coffee and the Espresso machine is tuned like a violin for perfection …

Great for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dogs are welcome on the rear deck. Owners Donnie and Lawrie love dogs and have two dogs in their family. When dining with dogs, enter the rear deck from the parking lot behind the restaurant.

Great Maple – Mindy from Newport Beach dined here with her dog Maggie and said this restaurant welcomes dogs on their patio. She had a great burger.

We sat in the charming back patio and they even brought a basket of dog treats out for our German-Shep. We had a vegetarian meatball sandwich, a very original veggie cheeseburger and a great Petit Syrah. It was all delicious, creative and the people are very down-to-earth friendly. This place is not vegetarian but there are lots of vegan/veggie options. We are absolutely thrilled we found this hidden gem. The owners are true animal lovers too!

This restaurant is all about four legged, furry companions. They have several water bowls placed conspicuously throughout their patio. They give out dog treats like candy, and even have a special menu just for dogs, consisting of things like turkey patties and brown rice. And on Fridays, dogs eat for free with the purchase of an entree. I bring my pooch to dine there often. To check out their doggie menu go to http://www.rootsgourmet.com

This is a festive spot I first visited with a group of derby girls partying after the pride parade.
There is a full bar, something on the menu for everyone, and enclosed sidewalk tables where dogs can sit with you at the table.
There were about 5 other small dogs when I was there the last time.
The food is standard pub/grill fare. I’d go back any time I am in Long Beach because my dog is always more relaxed when he has a cocktail.
