Five Guys

About 2 weeks after they opened, I was dog-sitting a friend’s tibetan terrier and brought him along to Five Guys with me. I knew better than to bring him inside, but walked around to their outdoor patio around the side and none of the employees had a problem with him so long as he was on a leash.

Do be careful when you take your dog there, though. They have free peanuts available (allegedly not good for dogs to eat).

You can’t beat this place for ribs! They’re prices are pretty good and their ribs and sauce are quite tasty! I love their corn bread.

Also, they are apparently dog friendly (on the outdoor patio, of course). So much so that they’ll often offer your pooch a free bone to chew while you eat.

Had a great lunch on the outside patio of Spruzzo today, overlooking the Coast Hwy across from Pt Dume and a view of the water. Very accomodating…brought over a bowl of water without even asking. Friendly. Great food. Easy to park. Casual.

Located in the Harbor…ultra casual, no frills seafood restaurant. Tables outside for dog accompanied owners..grassy areas adj. Nothing extra or special for doggies…but a place for their humans to eat. (actually got splated by a seagull – so watch out!!) Food was good. Easy to park.

Destini Cafe

This is one of my local hang outs with Buster! There is plenty of free street parking and behind the restaurant. A big portion of the restaurant seating is outside in the back patio.

They serve lots of different teas, so if you like tea you will love this place. The food is a mix of all different types of Asian (Thai, Chinese and Korean) but I think the emphasis is on Korean.

They also have some good lunch special deals
